It is an journey capturing images and producing prints. At times exciting with the awesome beauty of the world. At other times it is the excruciating tedious pursuit of that perfect moment that arrives or not. And then there is the rain and snow that may add depth, sparkle, mood or just dampness. This great adventure engaging with parsing these conditions and elements, melding the results onto a media that touches the awareness, and the sensibilities of the viewer.

Ned was the artistic director of the 2019 Shorerivers photo contest. His work has received honors at the City Hall of Alexandria. He has sold a significant body of work in West Virginia along with sales at The Art Academy and Circle Gallery in Annapolis.

Ned is a member of both Friday Morning Artists and Wednesday Morning Artists along with the Tidewater Camera Club and PhotoEaston.org. He studied Fine Art Photography at the Corcoran College of Art & Design. Ned is committed to the environmental restoration of the Chesapeake Bay, as well as active in oyster restoration and water quality on the Tred Avon River.
